The Global Marketplace will take Indigenous Elders, Indigenous Knowledge Keepers, Academic Researchers, Academic Professionals, and Social Innovators for a multi-city tour.
The Global Marketplace provides an opportunity to help delegates understand the dimensions of leadership through experiential learning and skill-based workshops. It is our vision that our conferences will bring together leaders and start conversations to ignite a passion to share understandings of cross-cultural indigenous knowledge and skill development as it relates to specific regions in India.

Our Global Marketplace travels from location to location to partner with organizations to bring career and skill development to your local student population.
The Global Marketplace Delegation will embark on their journey from Canada and arrive in Maharashtra, India to begin this historical global initiative that will inspire future leaders to enhance their global competencies in skill and career development.
The Global Marketplace for Career and Skill Development will start with a pre-launch event in Pune with the NFBM Jagriti School For Blind Girls. This leadership program titled, “Unleash Your Potential” will create an immersive experiential learning experience for the interaction between the students at the school and the Global Delegation. This will be followed by a leadership conference hosted in collaboration with Christ University Lavasa.
The official launch of the Global Marketplace Expedition will take place in Mumbai. This launch is in partnership with Times Group India. GELP has partnered with many institutions in Mumbai including ITM Group of Institutions. At ITM Group of Institutions, GELP will be conducting a student leadership program and a corporate launch event.
The delegation will continue its journey to Bangalore. GELP has partnered with institutions in Bangalore such as Christ University Bangalore (tbc) and AIMS . At these institutions, GELP will be conducting multiple student leadership programs for their respective institutions.
Next the global delegation will make its way to Kochi. GELP has partnered with Ragajiri Group of Institutions to host the delegation. GELP will be honoring student leaders that were recipients of the Global Awards distributed at the Global Virtual Summit held in June 2022 GELP will be conducting multiple student leadership programs and a corporate networking event in partnership with Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies.
GELP will continue to arrive in Thanjavur and will be visiting SASTRA University. At SASTRA University, GELP will be conducting a student leadership program and a faculty and staff professional development program around understanding global Indigenous perspectives. The delegation will then head to Chennai to host a leadership program and corporate networking event with Sri Sairam Group of Institutions. At Sri Sairam Group of Institutions, GELP will be honoring three students with Global Awards that were awarded recipients from the 2022 Global Virtual Summit. Prior to leaving Chennai on the 27th, GELP will be conducting a morning leadership summit with MOP Womens College.
The delegation will continue its journey to Hyderabad. GELP has partnered with Loyola Academy to host the delegation and a leadership program for their students, faculty and staff. In Hyderabad, the Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education, Government of Telangana will be inaugurating the Global Marketplace Leadership Program in Hyderabad.
Next the global delegation will make its way to Chandigarh. GELP has partnered with the Continental Institute for International Studies (CIIS) to host a student leadership program and a professional development event for corporates, faculty, staff and researchers. GELP will be honoring 2 student leaders from Chandigarh University that were recipients of the Global Awards distributed at the Global Virtual Summit held in June 2022.
The Global Marketplace Delegation will depart from India and head back to Canada. The GELP delegation will take the next few weeks to reflect on the experiences that have occurred over the Global Marketplace. Delegation members will be asked throughout the tour to share their lived experiences with respective partners in North America. The Marketplace will launch the next phase of GELP’s global initiatives.
